The Focus Features film will be opening against holiday comedy 'A Meyers Christmas.'

Loving, the true-life drama about interracial couple Mildred and Richard Loving, has gotten a release date from Focus Features.

The film will open in select theaters on Nov. 4, and then will go wide the following week on Nov. 11.

In the film, Joel Edgerton and Ruth Negga play the couple behind the seminal 1967 civil rights case Loving vs. Virginia. Michael Shannon and Nick Kroll also star in the pic, which was written and directed by acclaimed indie filmmaker Jeff Nichols.

Actor Colin Firth produced the movie, which was inspired by Nancy Buirski’s Emmy Award-winning documentary, The Loving Story. Ged Doherty, Buirski, Sarah Green, Marc Turtletaub and Peter Saraf also produced, while Brian Kavanaugh-Jones acted as executive producer.

Loving will be opening wide against Universal's holiday comedy A Meyers Christmas.
