Jeff Zucker is using unusual methods to help CNN find its footing.
In addition to Zucker leading daily news meetings, which previous CNN heads wouldn't do, employees say he is a micromanager, according to the New York Times.

The current president of CNN Worldwide is described as sending late-night BlackBerry messages about any number of concerns, ranging from the length of news segments to graphics shown on the screen.
Zucker, the former NBCUniversal president and CEO, stepped in as head of CNN in January 2013. He has been trying to improve dwindling ratings by focusing only on a few key news stories per day, along with adding more original series.
