It happens.

On Monday, Jennifer Aniston stepped out to promote her latest film, Office Christmas Party, and was spotted in a Brandon Maxwell jumpsuit that she paired with a black coat. The actress looked lovely in the sophisticated get-up, but that's not what got people talking. Instead it was the price tag that was left inside the outerwear that had everyone buzzing.

Aniston hasn't said much about the incident, but Jimmy Kimmel made sure to remind her of her wardrobe malfunction on his show Thursday night.

"I can't imagine how this happens to you. That's attached to you, right?" said Kimmel. "You have a price tag attached to your dress."

"Here's the sad part about this story: I've worn this coat about four times," Aniston responded. "It was very sweetly gifted to me from a commercial I just shot. I wore it home thinking nothing. I didn't think about it at all, to be honest. And four wears later and then this happens. It's not even like it's a light tag." The coat in question was by Celine.

To which the late-night host teased: "You stole that jacket, didn't you? You shoplifted that jacket."

Aniston rejected the idea of committing such crime, but noted that she did steal beads with her friend Monique when she was eight years old. Watch the video above to see what the Friends alum had to say.
