Ashley Brucks is joining the studio label as senior executive vp of production.

It's official: Jeremy Kramer has been tapped as the president of Paramount Players.

In his new role, Kramer will report to Emma Watts, who worked with exec at 20th Century Fox (now 20th Century Studios) and joined Paramount herself in June as the president of the motion picture group under Jim Gianopulos. Krammer's studio credits include She’s All That and Tropic Thunder, as well as franchises like Deadpool and Kingsman.

Joining Krammer will be Ashley Brucks, who previously served as evp of production for Paramount proper. She will serve as senior evp of production at Players. Brucks has extensive experience in the horror-thriller space, having worked on A Quiet Place films, as well as the Paranormal Activity franchise and the Pet Semetary remake. She is currently overseeing the musical adaptation of Tina Fey's Mean Girls.

Started by Brian Robbins, Paramount Players has been without a head since Robbins left for Nickelodeon in 2018. The label's movies include What Men Want and Dora and the Lost City of Gold.

Says Watts, “Jeremy has a proven track record of nurturing talent, both established and new, supporting their vision and helping them execute at the highest level -- from Let’s Be Cops to Kingsman to Deadpool.  There’s isn’t a movie that he’s worked on that he hasn’t made better.”

Added Watts: “The Players team is all the more strengthened by the addition of Ashley Brucks, whose taste, relationships and expertise have been a guiding force in many of Paramount Pictures’ recent hits."
