Jerry Braunstein, a veteran entertainment industry business manager and accountant whose clients included Don Rickles, died Wednesday at his home in Los Angeles. He was 90.

Braunstein opened his business management firm in the early 1950s. Braunstein Co. moved to Los Angeles in 1978 and operated in Century City for 25 years before being passed down to his son. The firm later merged with GSO Business Management.

Rickles was his client for 45 years.

A native of the Bronx, Braunstein served during World War II and was awarded medals for his work as a medic in Brighton, England, and for his efforts supporting the Allied forces during D-Day.

After the war, he took night classes and graduated from Pace University in New York. He married Barbara Feldman in 1947.

Survivors include his children Andrea and William and their respective spouses Alan and Marilyn; grandchildren Keith, Peri, Dean and Rachel; and great-grandchildren, Bella, Sasha, Luke and Julian.

A funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Sunday at Mount Sinai Memorial Park and Mortuary in Los Angeles. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation be made to the Jerome and Barbara Braunstein Memorial Fund with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
