Jessica Chastain, Maggie Gyllenhaal Join Produced By: New York Lineup

Amazon Studio's Ted Hope and Joe Lewis also will take part in the Producers Guild of America's one-day conference.

Jessica Chastain, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Call Me by Your Name’s Timothee Chalamet and Amazon executives Ted Hope and Joe Lewis have all been added to the lineup of participants taking part in the Producers Guild of America’s Produced By: New York 2017, which is set to be held Oct. 28 at the Time Warner Center in Manhattan.

Hope, Amazon Studios’ head of motion picture production, and Lewis, its head of comedy, drama and VR, will be featured in a discussion titled “360 Profile: Amazon Studios.”

“Scripted Series Content: From Pitch to Post” will consist of a forum with The Deuce producers Gyllenhaal and Nina K. Noble joined by House of Cards producers Frank Pugliese and Melissa James Gibson.

Chastain, the actress, producer and founder of Freckle Films, will join a panel called “The Power to Shake It Up,” which will focus on challenging the status quo and creating opportunities for women in all aspects of development and production.

In the “Producers’ Masterclass: The Power of Creative Collaboration,” the producers of some of this year’s newest features will talk with key collaborators about the filmmaking process. Producer Bruce Cohen will lead the discussion, which will include Chalamet and Call Me by Your Name producer Peter Spears as well as Mudbound producer Charles D. King and writer/director Dee Rees.
