Jessica Simpson Gives Birth to Baby Girl

The Fashion Star judge and fiancé Eric Johnson have given birth to a baby girl. The couple announced the birth if their daughter, Maxwell Drew Johnson, on Simpson's website on Tuesday. The baby was born at 9 pounds, 13 ounces.

“We are so grateful for all of the love, support and prayers we have received,” a statement on their website said. “This has been the greatest experience of our lives.”
Simpson, 31, first confirmed that she was pregnant on October 31 on her website, posting a photo of her hugging her growing belly in a mummy-esque costume.

Simpson's growing belly has been garnering increased attention over the past few months. Last month, Simpson dispelled online conspiracy theories that she had already given birth, tweeting: "To everyone who keeps congratulating me on the birth of my baby girl...I'm still pregnant!!" she wrote. "Don't believe what you read ladies and gents."
This is the first child for the couple, who have been dating since summer 2010, and got engaged in November 2010.
