Nathan Lane has problems guessing movie catchphrases on 'The Tonight Show.'

Jimmy Fallon once again let his competitive side show in a friendly game of "Pyramid" on The Tonight Show on Friday night.

Fallon, teamed up with Nathan Lane, took on The Roots' Tariq with Keri Russell in the game, which had each team feeding clues to their partners to guess a category's word or phrase. Themed categories for The Tonight Show guests included "Feli-City" and "Hakuna Matata."

The first category for Fallon and Lane, "Hakuna Matata" (for Lane's role in The Lion King), was movie catchphrases, which Lane had trouble with, failing to guess both Titanic and Forrest Gump. Tariq and Russell had far better luck with "John Doe," famous men named John, and "Feli-City," which involved simply guessing U.S. cities. Fallon wasn't so happy with his partner, but the two of them did far better in the second round.

Both guests were appearing on The Tonight Show to promote their FX series: Lane currently co-stars on The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, and Russell is about to start a new season of The Americans.
