Jimmy Fallon Hospitalized; 'Tonight Show' Taping Canceled
The late night host injured his hand, requiring surgery, a rep for Jimmy Fallon said in a statement.
Friday's taping of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon has been canceled due to Jimmy Fallon injuring his hand, a rep for the show has announced.
“Jimmy Fallon was required to have minor surgery after injuring his hand at his Manhattan apartment this morning," the rep said in a statement. "He is expected to make a full recovery.”
The show announced that Friday's taping would be canceled on Twitter, "Hey guys - unfortunately tonight's taping has been canceled due to Jimmy injuring his hand. He's totally fine but we'll be airing a repeat."

"If you had tickets to tonight's show, we'll be in contact with you to reschedule your tix," the statement continued.
According to TMZ, Fallon is currently in the hospital following a night on the town, posing for photos with fans at New York's Scalinatella restaurant.
