Jimmy Kimmel and James Corden Mock Kim Kardashian With Future Letters to Themselves
"My hands identify as black."
Kim Kardashian wrote a letter to her future self, and James Corden and Jimmy Kimmel liked the idea so much they each followed suit on their late-night shows.
Kardashian's letter was written in 2015 for her to open in 2025. Corden "coincidentally" had written a letter to himself 10 years ago in 2005, and he opened it on his Wednesday show.
"I'm sure by now you've revealed to the world that you are Banksy," read Corden. "What a relief."
His mock letter spoke about Ricky Martin getting tons of girls, his investment in MySpace and his love of writing Harry Potter erotic fan fiction.
Kimmel's letter mimicked Kardashian’s in that he sat down to write it in 2015 to be opened when hoverboards exist. "Am I finally gay?" he asked his future self. "What's the new kale? Is it parsley?"
"I bet it's romaine lettuce," he continued. Kimmel points out that the reason his hands are darker skinned when the camera zooms in on him are because his hands "identify as black," sneaking in a Rachel Dolezal dig.
