Joan Rivers has been moved out of intensive care.

"My mother has been moved out of intensive care and into a private room where she is being kept comfortable. Thank you for your continued support," Melissa Rivers said in a statement on Wednesday.

The 81-year-old comedian was on life support after a medically induced coma. She was rushed to Manhattan's Mount Sinai Hospital Thursday after suffering cardiac arrest during throat surgery earlier that day.
