The 29-year-old broadcaster is the new play-by-play announcer for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Joe Davis, the new voice of the Los Angeles Dodgers, has signed with CAA, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned.

The relatively young Davis, 29, succeeds the legendary Vin Scully, who retired last season after 67 years. When the Dodgers open their season April 3, Davis will be in the booth with former all-stars Orel Hershiser and Nomar Garciaparra calling the play-by-play.

Davis, who was previously with WME and IF Management, is following his agent, Josh Santry, from IF. Sports Business Journal announced Santry’s CAA hiring earlier on Monday.

Davis remains Fox Sports 1’s primary play-by-play announcer for college football, and will continue to cover the MLB and college basketball for the network as well. He previously worked at ESPN, where at age 25 he became the youngest person ever to call a college football bowl game on television.
