John Cusack and Christina Ricci will star in thriller Distorted from Minds Eye Entertainment.
Ricci will play an artist who suffers from bi-polar disorder and has just endured the tragedy of losing her child. Disturbing memories prompt her and her husband to move from their home into an upscale apartment building that boasts a modern design and a high-tech security system. When she suspects the building's owner of a nefarious plot to subliminally subjugate the residents, she employs the help of an investigative journalist (Cusack) with an interest in cyber conspiracy.
Brendan Fletcher (The Revenant) will also star in the feature from writer Arne Olsen and director Rob W. King, who recently directed the Nicolas Cage starrer The Humanity Bureau for Minds Eye.
Production will begin at the end of this month in British Columbia. Distorted will be made in multiple formats, including multiscreen Barco Escape and virtual reality.

Guy Griffithe, Allison Taylor, Jason Brooks, Darren Benning, Frank White and Nicolas Chartier will exec produce. Andrew Holmes and Ben DeWalt are co-producing.
