John Harran, Michael Quigley Promoted at Turner Network Sales

In a newly created role, Harran is responsible for the distribution strategy for Turner’s TV Everywhere initiative

John Harran has been promoted to senior vp, business and product development in the Turner Network Sales (TNS) division, Turner Broadcasting announced Monday.

In addition, Michael Quigley moves from vp, business development and multiplatform distribution to senior vp of brand distribution.

Both Quigley and Harran will report to Jennifer Mirgorod, executive vp of brand distribution.

“John and Michael are skilled leaders with tremendous experience in the distribution industry,” said Mirgorod, “proven track records of innovating and executing strategic business initiatives across Turner’s brands, as well as a deep knowledge of the digital and technology industries which are imperative in the changing TV landscape.”

Harran, formerly vp, business development & multi-platform distribution, is responsible for the distribution strategy for Turner’s TV Everywhere initiative. Harran is also responsible for overseeing Turner Private Networks where he is to identify revenue-generating opportunities for Turner's out-of-home content business. 

Quigley will oversee all account management responsibilities and strategic content distribution initiatives with major partners such as Comcast, Cablevision, Verizon, and Brighthouse Networks.
