The 'Last Week Tonight' host is now a dad.

John Oliver and his wife, Kate Norley, have welcomed a baby boy, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

Oliver and Norley met when he was covering the 2008 Republican National Convention for The Daily Show. Norley, who served as a combat medic in Iraq and was at the convention on behalf of Vets for Freedom, hid Oliver from security after he snuck onto the second floor of the Xcel Energy Center, where he was not authorized to go.

The two were married in 2011. Oliver, recalling their meeting for THR in 2014, said that, at the time, he only had a work visa and that if he had been arrested, he could have been deported.

"The end result is romantic; at the time, it just felt harrowing," Oliver told THR.

On Tuesday night, Oliver demonstrated his commitment to the troops by performing at the 9th Annual Stand Up for Heroes comedy benefit at Madison Square Garden. He and Norley also have visited Afghanistan as part of a USO tour.

Oliver's second season of Last Week Tonight is set to end on Nov. 22. In February, he re-upped with HBO for at least two more seasons of his popular weekly show.

E! Online first reported the baby news.
