Drama from Canadian writer Malcolm MacRury

TORONTO -- Clark Johnson and Luke Kirby will topline "Lawyers, Guns & Money," the new drama pilot for Canadian broadcaster Canwest Broadcasting.

Kirby ("Mambo Italiano") will play an insurance adjuster in a drama set in gritty Hamilton, Ontario, from producer Whizbang Films and veteran Canadian writer Malcolm MacRury ("Lives of the Saints," "Deadwood").

Carole Cave and Steve Bacic also have joined the pilot, to be directed by Ken Girotti ("Rescue Me").

Toronto-based Canwest said another pilot for "Shattered" will feature veteran actor Callum Keith Rennie as an ex-cop with a multiple personality disorder. The drama from Force Four Films and Blueprint Film and Television will be directed by Bobby Roth ("Prison Break").

Other Canwest pilot casting includes Ben Bass, Tom McCamus and Sonja Bennet to headline the drama "Clean" from House of Films and Four Seasons Prods.
