Jon Hamm is joining Zachary Quinto in the indie drama Aardvark.

Brian Shoaf wrote and will direct the project, which is being financed by Green Point Media.

The script centers on a mentally ill man (Quinto) who, after suffering hallucinations, begins to see a therapist. He believes he has fallen in love, but isn't sure if his new soulmate is real or a hallucination. At the same time, his new therapist also finds love — with her new patient's famous brother.

Hamm would play the brother of the disturbed man.

Jenny Slate, the breakout star of Obvious Child, is also on board Aardvark, playing the therapist.

On top of starring, Quinto is producing via his Before the Door Pictures. The film is currently shooting in New York.

Hamm, known for playing Don Draper on AMC's hit Mad Men, has booked several film roles since the show ended.

He recently signed on for Edgar Wright's latest pic Baby Driver with Ansel Elgort, and has drama Marjorie Prime with Geena Davis and spy thriller High Wire Act with Rosamund Pike on the docket.

Hamm also has the comedy Keeping Up With the Joneses with Isla Fisher and Zach Galifianakis in the can.

The actor is repped by CAA, Forward Entertainment and Sloane, Offer.
