Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert Estimated to Draw 150,000 to D.C. Rallies
Comedy Central has ordered 508 Porta-Potties; event organizers usually get one for every 300 attendees.
Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert are expected to draw about 150,000 to Washington D.C.'s National Mall this weekend, the New York Post reports.
The paper arrived at that number after learning event organizers ordered 508 Porta-Potties for their rallies this Saturday. Typically, one toilet is figured for every 300 attendees.
The toilers are being shipped in from Waldorf, Md.-based United Site Services, which will provide 450 stand-alone lavatories, 50 disabled-friendly units and one trailer with eight stalls.
Comedy Central still has not been granted permits to host Stewart's Rally to Restore Sanity and Colbert's March to Keep Fear Alive. The National Park Service expects to announce their decision by Wednesday.
