The Journey of the SAG Awards Statuette: From Creation to the Cast of 'Veep'

See the journey of a Screen Actors Guild Award.

Statue #1112 has quite the journey.

The Hollywood Reporter previously went behind the scenes of American Fine Arts Foundry in Burbank, where the iconic green SAG Award is created during a detailed, 15-step process. And Sunday night, it found itself in the hands of its proud new owner: winners of best ensemble in a comedy series, the cast of HBO's Veep.

"This is the first time I've ever won anything," Veep's Dan Bakkedahl told THR backstage after the win. "My brother won a television once in eighth grade, and this is much cooler than a television. He doesn't even have that TV anymore, and I'm the proud recipient of #1112."
