Judd Apatow on Bill Cosby: "I'm Just Sad He's Not in Jail"
Amy Schumer wishes Cosby would at the very least get community service.
Bill Cosby has been accused of sexually assaulting more than 30 women and the list of accusers continues to grow. Judd Apatow was recently asked about Cosby, when a reporter referenced comments Apatow made about wanting to speak about Cosby at the South by Southwest film festival.
"I'm just sad he's not in jail," Apatow told the Huffington Post. "I think when people do things like that they should pay the consequences."
Amy Schumer, who was promoting Trainwreck with Apatow, added, "Can he at least just get community service? Just pick up litter for a day? If it gets to 100 women?"
Apatow has tweeted about Cosby in the past, calling him a "monster" and a "rapist" and comparing him to Hitler.
@CenCalDevil I wish he wasn't a rapist too. I am not sure why you feel the need to protect him. But your rage can't be making you happy.— Judd Apatow (@JuddApatow) December 28, 2014
@BigchefHarris Yoda would say different. Hitler died without being convicted of murder. That doesn't make him innocent.— Judd Apatow (@JuddApatow) December 28, 2014
I think one in a Hundred thousand people support Cosby. I am gonna stop responding to them so often. It is just maddening though. So cold.— Judd Apatow (@JuddApatow) December 28, 2014
