Judd Apatow, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, More to Participate in Telethon Promoting Voter Registration

The 'Telethon for America' will also feature Whitney Cummings, Jessica Alba, Allison Janney Connie Britton, Alyssa Milano, Chris Redd and Nick Kroll.

Stars such as Jessica Alba, Judd Apatow, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Allison Janney, Lil Rel Howery, Chelsea Handler, Adam Devine and more will come together for the Telethon for America, an initiative to promote voting ahead of the Nov. 6 midterms.

Created by comedian Ben Gleib, the telethon will stream live on YouTube, Facebook Live and Comedy Central Online on Monday, Nov. 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. PT. The event will be hosted by Olivia Munn. 

The telethon will feature live comedic and musical performances, pretaped segments and a roster of stars calling out to viewers and other potential voters to ensure they will vote the day after the broadcast.

Gleib will executive produce the event alongside Neil Mandt, Hannah Linkenhoker, Rick Sorkin and Barry Katz. YouTube, Lyft and ICM Partners are presenting sponsors and the event is backed by When We All Vote, a nonpartisan, nonprofit campaign launched by Michelle Obama. GLADD is also a sponsor.

The telethon will be produced by Gleib’s Neurotic Gangster Productions, BC Live, Mandt Bros Productions, Barry Katz Entertainment and YouTube. It will be streamed from YouTube's Playa Vista studios, which the platform made available for the event.

The telethon can also be viewed on performers' personal social media accounts as they stream the event through Transmit Live.

Other participants include Whitney Cummings, Connie Britton, Alyssa Milano, Chris Redd and Nick Kroll.
