Josh Hamilton also stars in Neil LaBute’s play, which opens in April.

Julia Stiles, who recently received a Golden Globe nomination for her role on Dexter, has signed on to join Dane Cook and Josh Hamilton in Neil LaBute’s Broadway play, Fat Pig.

The play centers on Tom (Hamilton), an eligible bachelor who falls in love with the beautiful, smart and plus-sized Helen. Tom is happy with his relationship but his co-workers and friends, including Carter (Cook), aren’t so impressed. Ex-girlfriend Jeannie (Stiles) forces Tom to question his own values and the importance of good looks.

Pig marks LaBute’s Broadway directorial debut, which begins previews April 12 and officially opens April 26.

Stiles, a veteran theater, film and television actress, played the mysterious Lumin on Showtime’s Dexter, who has a unique relationship with the eponymous killer. She has appeared in numerous films including the Bourne trilogy alongside Matt Damon, 10 Things I Hate About You and Save the Last Dance.

Stiles has appeared in Shakespeare-in-the-Park’s Twelfth Night, Oleanna and Fran’s Bed. She also directed a short film, Raving, that starred Zooey Deschanel and Bill Irwin.

Casting for the role of Helen will be announced shortly.
