“I’ve said this a million times, I’ll say it a million times more, she’s probably one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met in my life,” he said of Hough. “She’s definitely the hardest worker I’ve ever seen in my life, she has an infectious smile, and with all those things combined, I can’t see her not being one of the top two or three starlets in Hollywood.”

Hough, who first appeared as an uncredited Hogwarts Schoolgirl in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, was most recently seen alongside Cher and Christina Aguilera in Burlesque. She can be seen as Sherrie Christian in the upcoming Rock of Ages film adaptation, and was recently cast opposite Russell Brand in Diablo Cody’s Lamb of God.

“She made the transformation from dancer/singer to possibly A-list actor in a matter of weeks,” Blaine said. “I saw her transformation from the table read all the way up to our first day of shooting -- she did an awesome job. I definitely think she’s gonna be one of the top entertainers. Period.”

Hough made an appearance at her old DWTS stomping grounds on Tuesday, Oct. 11. She performed with the Footloose cast, while Blake Shelton performed the film’s title track.  Hough also reunited with brother and current competitor Derek Hough for an additional dance.
