Julianne Moore's Crowning Glory: Chanel Haute Couture at the SAG Awards
The "Game Change" actress wears an amazing white Chanel Haute Couture gown with black and silver flower appliques all over the skirt.
She's been best dressed at the last two major awards shows.
Julianne Moore (and her stylist Leslie Fremar) is on a serious fashion role, having worn a yellow long sleeved Dior Haute Couture to the Emmy's (when she won for Game Change), and then her amazing Tom Ford turn at the Globes (when she won for Game Change again).
She's not just cleaning up with all the acting on a miniseries awards, she's cleaning up in all the Best Dressed categories -- the ones that matter, anyway. In her white Chanel Haute Couture gown at the SAG Awards, she's done it again. She balances her striking red wavy hair with a strong white color, and this gown, going all out sexy, with a very slinky silhouette.
Moore also added the textural -- and fun! -- element of the floral appliques.
It's a great combo of sexy and couture -- her gown hits on the white trend, the black and white trend, and the floral trend -- not to mention the textural trend. Without a doubt, a three out of three best dressed winner - not to mention winning three out of three trophies. Too bad she's not Oscar nominated! If we're lucky, she'll be a presenter.
What a season, what a dress, what an actress.
