Julien Seri to Direct Crime Thriller 'Anderson Falls' (Exclusive)
The crime thriller reteams production companies Title Media and Lone Suspect.
French helmer Julien Seri (Yamakasi, Night Fare) is set to direct Anderson Falls, a dramatic crime thriller written by Giles Daoust, for Title Media and Lone Suspect.
Luke Barnett and Vincent Masciale will produce under their Lone Suspect banner alongside Daoust (Starry Eyes) on behalf of Title Media and Mike Macari (The Ring franchise) for Koji Productions. Catherine Dumonceaux is executive producing. Production is scheduled to start this summer.
The story follows a detective who is convinced that his wife's suicide is actually murder. Obsessed with his investigation, Anderson finds out that his wife was the victim of a team of father-and-son serial killers and is forced to break the rules to stop them from killing again.
Seri has directed over 600 commercials, which have won him two Bronze Lions in Cannes, and four French feature films, including Yamakasi (EuropaCorp) and Night Fare (Universal France).
Anderson Falls marks Title Media’s third time partnering with Lone Suspect, having teamed up previously on the Abigail Breslin horror-comedy Fear, Inc. (Tribeca) and the dramatic thriller Painkillers (Adam Huss, Madeline Zima, Mischa Barton), which debuted to buyers at EFM via Kew Media.
Barnett and Masciale are repped by APA, Untitled and attorney Ashley Silver at Bloom-Hergott, while Daoust is repped by Original Artists.
