The actor-musician confirmed the news on Monday’s episode of 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show.'

Last summer, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel welcomed their second son, named Phineas.

Timberlake confirmed the news on Monday's Ellen DeGeneres Show, a clip of which was posted to social media Sunday.

Despite keeping the news of baby No. 2 under wraps until now, Timberlake revealed that Ellen DeGeneres was one of the first people he and wife Biel told about their pregnancy, outside of their immediate family.

“He’s awesome and he’s so cute,” Timberlake said of Phineas. “Nobody’s sleeping, but we're thrilled and couldn’t be happier.”

Married in 2012, the Hollywood couple welcomed their first child Silas, 5, in 2015.

As for now having two children instead of one, the Grammy winner said, “It’s a lot of fun.”

“I guess the saying goes, ‘Go from a zone defense to a man-to-man really quickly,’" he joked about the adjustment. “But it's great, and Silas is super excited.”

Timberlake shared that Silas is musical, following in his father’s footsteps. But the 5-year-old is also into playing tennis, Legos and his Nintendo Switch.

Later in the interview, Timberlake told DeGeneres that he himself is currently working on new music, but taking “as much time with [his] family as possible.”

“I find myself doing just more short, two-week-at-a-time sessions,” the singer explained, rather than spending an extended period of time in the studio. “I think I’m getting close to maybe having an album done.”

Timberlake is set to next appear in Apple’s Palmer, alongside Ryder Allen, Alisha Wainwright, June Squibb and Juno Temple.
