Kanye West Cancels 'Today' Show Concert After Matt Lauer Spat

"I accept ya’ll future apology in advance LOL!" he Twitters.

Kanye West has called off his Nov. 26 concert on the Today show after feuding with host Matt Lauer.

Wrote the rapper on Twitter early Friday: "I’m not performing on the Today Show for obvious reasons. I’m so happy the world got to see just a small piece of ‘the set up.’ "

A rep for the Today show confirms to The Hollywood Reporter: "Kanye West has cancelled his Today show concert."

West became angry at Lauer when a clip of his infamous ambush of Taylor Swift at the 2009 MTV VMAs was played in the background during an interview this week.

"Yo, how am I supposed to talk if you're going to be running this thing in the middle while I'm talking?" fumed West, who had been discussing his regret about calling George W. Bush racist.

The Today show aired their tense exchange Thursday morning.

Even though West won't be performing, he doesn't seem too angry at Lauer.

"Much love to Matt and the whole Today Show. I accept ya’ll future apology in advance LOL!" he also Twittered Friday.
