Kate Marsh promoted at Sony TV

Named svp broadcast, channel development for Euro channels

LONDON -- Sony Pictures Television has promoted Kate Marsh to svp broadcast and channel development across its European channel business, giving her the task of boosting the performance and creative scope of such brands as Sony Entertainment Television, AXN and Animax.

She will continue to report to SPT evp, international networks Ross Hair and retain oversight of the EMEA networks team in London.

Marsh, who joined SPT in 2008 after senior posts at GroupM, Sky Italia and BSkyB, has had a wealth of pan-European experience including developing "Big Brother" for the Italian market, creating the Fox Life, Sky Vivo and Paramount Comedy Channels and being responsible for the financial, creative and strategic management of the U.K.'s leading entertainment pay TV channel Sky One.
