'Kath & Kim' land their men

NBC's "Kath & Kim" have found their significant others as John Michael Higgins and Mikey Day have been cast in the comedy series starring Molly Shannon and Selma Blair.

Meanwhile, Jonathan Sadowski has become the first actor cast in "Courtroom K," Paul Attanasio's one-hour pilot for Fox.

"Kath & Kim," from Universal and Reveille, centers on the dysfunctional relationship between Kath (Shannon) and her daughter, Kim (Blair).

Higgins will play Kath's man, who racewalks every morning and gets facial peels. Day will play Kim's husband, a cute, simple guy.

Higgins, who co-starred in "Fred Clause," recently wrapped "Yes, Man" and is currently filming "Fired Up." He is repped by Endeavor, Magnolia and attorney Jason Sloane. Day ("Underground") is repped by Gersh and Management 360.

"Courtroom K," from 20th TV, is described as a darkly comedic courtroom drama in the vein of "House." It is set in a Milwaukee Superior Court.

Sadowski, recently seen on Fox's "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles," will play a public defender. He is repped by WMA and Essential.
