The singer also retweeted her own 2015 post, saying: "Time, the ultimate truth teller."

Katy Perry tweeted a GIF of Hillary Clinton making a shrug gesture on Wednesday, shortly after her name was brought up in Calvin Harris' Twitter spree about ex Taylor Swift.

The Harris-Swift situation started when a rep for Swift confirmed she had a hand in writing his Rihanna collaboration "This Is What You Came For." Shortly after that, Harris complimented Swift for being an “amazing lyric writer” but tweeted that it was “hurtful” the way the news was leaked.

The DJ went so far as to compare the move to Swift trying to “bury [him] like Katy," referencing the alleged feud between the two pop stars.

Although Perry has not directly commented on Harris’ tweet — and it is unconfirmed whether the Clinton tweet is related — a GIF does say a thousand words.

The singer also retweeted herself after posting the Clinton GIF, sharing a post from May 2015 (right around the time of their alleged feud) saying, "Time, the ultimate truth teller."
