Katy Perry to Star in H&M's Holiday Campaign
The singer is counting down the days till Christmas.
Katy Perry is lining up modeling gigs left and right. A month after she announced she would star in the new Moschino ads, the pop singer took to her Instagram account to reveal her latest spokesmodel job: H&M's holiday campaign.
She will join other musicians including Beyonce, Lady Gaga (with Tony Bennett) and Lana Del Rey who also have strutted their stuff for the Swedish mega retailer. The campaign was shot by Daniel Jackson and will be Perry's first time repping H&M solo.
In 2009, Perry partnered with the brand on their Fashion Against Aids collection. Although she announced her big news on Insta, holiday emojis and all, the singer also spoke to WWD about the news, saying, “H&M was one of the places where I first began cultivating my personal style.”
“One of the reasons I love the holidays is being able to dress cozy and cute, which H&M executes so well for every budget,” said the star, who boasts more than 72 million Twitter followers. From the single, adorable image that’s out so far, it’s pretty clear the label picked the right girl.
