KCET and Otis College of Art and Design Partner for 'Artbound' Episode (Exclusive Video)

The hourlong multimedia series will broadcast in Southern California on KCET on March 24 at 8 p.m.

The educational, independent television station KCETLink and the Otis College of Art and Design have come together to produce a multimedia special called State of Creativity that is meant to explore the creative capital of Southern California.

This special episode of  Artbound is comprised of online vignettes that will be stitched together into an hourlong television event. The individual segments will focus on various Los Angeles-based creative endeavors, from clothing manufacturing to moviemaking. The Hollywood Reporter has an exclusive first look at a clip from the documentary.

State of Creativity is based on findings from the annual Otis Report on the Creative Economy, which measures and assesses the impact that creative industries have on the greater Los Angeles economy. The 2013 report revealed that one in seven jobs were held in creative fields, while the arts contributed $80 billion to the region's total gross product. The 2014 report was released Wednesday.

The hourlong multimedia special will air on KCET on March 24 at 8 p.m. in Southern California and nationally on LinkTV on March 30 at 8 p.m.
