Keke Palmer Signs With UTA
The ‘Scream Queens’ alum has joined season two of Epix’s ‘Berlin Station’
Keke Palmer has signed with UTA in all areas, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. She previously was with WME.
The versatile actress, 23, who broke out as the title character in 2006’s Akeelah and the Bee, starred in the first two seasons of Fox’s Scream Queens, as well as the network’s Emmy-winning special Grease Live!. She’ll next be a series regular on the second season of Epix’s Berlin Station, playing the CIA station’s youngest case officer on her first field assignment.
Palmer’s other television credits include Nickelodeon’s True Jackson; VP, for which she won four straight NAACP Image Awards; Showtime’s Masters of Sex; VH1’s CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story; DirecTV’s Neil LaBute drama Full Circle and Lifetime’s The Trip to Bountiful, opposite Cicely Tyson and Vanessa Williams. Her long list of film work includes Ice Age: Continental Drift, Joyful Noise, Brotherly Love and Imperial Dreams. She next stars as the title character in the indie drama Pimp, which she is co-executive producing.
UTA will also represent Palmer in music. Last month she released “Wind Up,” featuring Quavo, the first single off her upcoming album from Island Records, which released her EP Lauren last November. Palmer also published her first book, I Don’t Belong to You: Quiet the Noise and Find Your Voice, via Simon and Schuster imprint North Star Way in January.
Palmer continues to be represented by Laron Entertainment, Young Management Group and Hertz Lichtenstein & Young.
