Ken Freimann joins Circle of Confusion

Tapped as manager-producer after 10-year stint at WMA

After working at WMA for just shy of a decade, Ken Freimann has joined Circle of Confusion as a manager-producer.

Freimann brings along such established scribes as Adam F. Goldberg and Chad & Carey Hayes as well as up-and-comers including Joe Robert Cole, Gideon Yago, Antonio Negret and Jeff Feuerzeig.

Freimann will not only manage and develop the careers of writers and directors, he will use his industry ties to help produce projects along with Circle partners Lawrence Mattis, David Alpert and David Engel.

A fixture on the Comic-Con scene, Friedmann's interest in that area will mesh nicely with Circle's eclectic mix of filmmakers and comic book creators, including the Wachowski brothers, Jaume Collet-Serra, Brian Michael Bendis and Geoff Darrow as well as comic publisher IDW.

Freimann will be based in the company's L.A. office.

"Ken has great taste and is an aggressive advocate for his clients," Mattis said. "His energy and experience are the perfect addition to our company as Circle continues to deepen and diversify its management business and expand its production activities."
