Marc Jacobs' Latest Campaign Stars an Army of Models
Kendall Jenner, Adriana Lima and Karlie Kloss are among the boldfacers assembling for the designer's spring ads
There’ll be no shortage of pretty faces in the next Marc Jacobs campaign. WWD unveiled on Tuesday that Anja Rubik (pictured above), Kendall Jenner, Adriana Lima, Karlie Kloss, Joan Smalls, Natasha Poly, Anna Ewers, Issa Lish and Jessica Stam will all star in the spring 2015 ads, each with their own full look and close-up.
The ads, like Jacobs' spring 2015 show, have a heavy, militaristic vibe, with structured, uniform-inspired pieces in army green and khaki that steal the spotlight from the supermodel cast — each of whom looks nearly unrecognizable in bowl-cut black wigs, complete with eyelash grazing fringe. Also making the leap from the runway to the glossies are the completely barefaced beauty looks, courtesy of makeup artist Diane Kendal, that made waves back in September.
The ads, shot by David Sims and styled by Katie Grand, will appear in January issues of the major fashion magazines.
