'Kendra' renewed at E!
Network to air 12 episodes for second seasonE! is picking up a second season of its breakout reality series "Kendra."
The network will order 12 more episodes chronicling Kendra Wilkinson's marriage to Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Hank Baskett.
"We saw a marriage in Season 1, and now we are going to see Kendra navigate the unfamiliar waters of being a newlywed and a new parent all at the same time," said Lisa Berger, executive vp original programming and series development at E! "We can't wait to be there with her every step of the way."
The network also plans to air two specials in December, when the couple's first child is due and Kendra moves to New Jersey to live closer to Baskett year-round.
The former "Girls Next Door" co-star's latest E! reality show premiered in June and drew the largest debut audience for the network since "The Anna Nicole Show" -- featuring another former Playboy Playmate, Anna Nicole Smith -- bowed in 2002.
"Kendra" is averaging about 2 million viewers, almost double the time-period average from last year, with a wedding episode coming up next month that was shot at the Playboy Mansion.
