Keri Russell and Scott Speedman Gleefully Talk 'Felicity' Reunion

Speedman also talks about being a "disaster of a boyfriend" to Russell back when they filmed the show together.

Fans who shipped Felicity and Ben were given a gift on Tuesday when Keri Russell and Scott Speedman were interviewed together on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The former Felicity couple are still close friends and laughed and teased each other throughout the interview. When Kimmel asked if they would be up for a Felicity reunion, similar to how Gilmore Girls was recently revived on Netflix, Speedman said he would definitely be down.

"I would do it," said Speedman. "Some people are on really high-class shows," he added, pointing to The Americans star as she laughed. "Some people won't really do — I'd do it in a heartbeat. I'll be on Lifetime in no time."

The actors spoke about staying friends for the almost 20 years since Felicity, and how grateful they are that Instagram and social media didn't exist when they filmed the college drama. Speedman joked that if the social networks existed back then, he might have pulled an Anthony Weiner, accidentally or intentionally. The two also talked about Russell's famous haircut that received such backlash.

"We were actually dating at the time, and I'd been such a disaster of a boyfriend up until then and I knew I had to put on a good show," Speedman said, smiling as Russell laughed next to him. "I got to work and she turned around the corner and my face sort of froze in a half-panic, half-smile situation. It just did not pull it off and you called me on it. There was a chia head sort of vibe."

"There was a chia pet vibe," said Russell as Speedman gave her a friendly squeeze on the arm and said that it grew into something great and everyone "recovered" from it. Kimmel tried to steer the conversation back to Speedman being a "disaster of a boyfriend" but Russell just said he was a boyfriend who was in his early twenties.
