Kiefer Sutherland to Headline Canada's Top Ten Film Festival
The '24' star will dish on career highlights at Toronto's annual homegrown movie showcase in January.
24 star Kiefer Sutherland will take center stage at the Toronto Film Festival's Canadian-made film showcase next month.
The Hollywood star will return to the city where he grew up and started his acting career to talk career highlights and Canadian film at Toronto's Bell Lightbox as part of Canada's annual cross-country showcase of homegrown movies.
Sutherland's appearance on Jan. 16 will cap off Toronto's Top Ten Film Festival, where the latest pics by homegrown directors like Patricia Rozema, Guy Maddin, Philippe Falardeau and Alan Zweig will screen.
Canadian movies also booked into the Jan. 8-17 event include Stephen Dunn's Closet Monster, Philippe Lesage's The Demons and Anne Emond's Our Loved Ones.
Sutherland is set to star opposite Michelle Pfeiffer in indie drama Beat-Up Little Seagull for Killer Films and financier Great Point Media. The pic is currently shooting in New York City.
