Pro tips from the lady in Dior.

Poor reception and monster crowds can make for a scary scene — especially when you’re a petite 16-year-old TV star like Kiernan Shipka.

But the Mad Men alum, who learned a thing or two from her first go-around at Coachella way back in 2014, has her own means of keeping up with her friends.

“Hold hands in the mosh pits,” she advised while chatting with Pret-a-Reporter at the Sunset Kickoff party at Popsugar’s Cabana Club. “And hopefully some [cell] reception happens, too.”

Decked out in a wispy, blush pink Dior number, oversize transparent shades and metallic platform Stella McCartney oxfords, Shipka clearly has a unique way of approaching the festival chaos, setting her apart — in the best possible way — from the sea of fringe and flower crowns. All the more reason to trust her, if you ask us.

“Experiencing something like Coachella for the first time is really intense,” she notes. Her tips for first-timers, now that she’s a Coachella vet?

“Just be organized,” she says, listing off sunscreen, sneakers and a sweater as festival essentials. Though, in the spirit of Coachella, she recommends not taking plans too seriously.

"Also allow for spontaneity," she adds. "It’s finding that balance, like trying to be as organized as possible and then forgetting about it."
