'Killers' dominates home video charts

Season sets of 'The Office,' 'Smallville' land on multiple lists

Lionsgate had a killer week on home video, with the action comedy "Killers" debuting at No. 1 on all three home video charts.

The film, which stars Ashton Kutcher, grossed $47 million in theaters.

On the Nielsen VideoScan First Alert sales chart for the week ending Sept. 12, "Killers" easily took the top spot, followed by three new season sets of popular TV series.

Season six of "The Office," from Universal Studios, debuted at No. 2.

Warner took third and fourth place with season five of "The Supernatural" and season nine of "Smallville."

Tyler Perry's "Why Did I Get Married Too?", the top seller the previous week, slipped to No. 5.

On Home Media Magazine's rental chart, "Killers" also scored an easy victory, with the previous week's top renter, 20th Century Fox's "Marmaduke," falling to No. 4. Holdovers "Date Night," from 20th Century Fox, and "Why Did I Get Married Too?" finished at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.

On the Nielsen VideoScan Blu-ray Disc sales chart, "Killers" was followed by season nine of "Smallville" at No. 2 and season six of "The Office" at No. 3.

Of total unit sales for "Killers," 20% were Blu-ray Disc copies.
