Kim Kardashian Called Out for Misspelling Giorgio Armani's Name on Twitter

Kim Kardashian - H 2015

Blame it on sleep deprivation.

Like any loyal beauty fan, when Kim Kardashian ran out of her favorite foundation and found that the product had been (*gasp*) discontinued, she contacted the company directly via Twitter, pleading, "Why did Georgio Armani discontinue my favorite foundation??? I'm on my last bottle & everyone I know uses this!!! Please make it again!"

Note the excessive punctuation ("???" and "!!!"). Kardashian does not mess around when it comes to foundation, people. Plus "everyone" she knows uses the Armani foundation, so like, come on, Armani!!!

Like any good PR team, Armani's Twitter account responded immediately to Kardashian's plea, saying that they'd be happy to ship the right foundation to her stat — but there was one little tidbit they had to clear up first. "Dear Kim," reads their response, "let us know which one you need and we'll send it to you. And Mr. Armani's first name is Giorgio." Zing.

We can only imagine how embarrassed Kardashian must have felt (unless she was too busy celebrating the promise of more foundation), but it's OK, Kim, spelling errors happen to the best of us. And for some, those spelling errors happen a bit more frequently. (See: a moment of mother-daughter bonding when Kardashian called out momager Kris Jenner for her "omish" outfits.)

However, Kardashian did apologize for her mistake, replying to Armani, "Thank you so much and my apologies on the spelling error, this expecting Mommy is a tad sleep deprived. ;-)"

And with the excellent use of a throwback winky face emoticon, all was forgiven.
