The reality TV star expressed her gratitude to the firefighters who saved her family's home during an appearance on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show.'

Kim Kardashian made an appearance on Wednesday's episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where she announced major donations to the California wildfire relief efforts.

While chatting with DeGeneres, Kardashian expressed how thankful she is to the firefighters who saved the home she shares with West. "We're so grateful to them. Honestly, we couldn't do it without them," the reality TV star said.

To give back, Kardashian announced two $200,000 donations — one going to the Wildfire Relief Fund and the other to the California Fire Foundation — on behalf of herself, husband Kanye West and his Adidas Yeezy label.

Later in the episode, Kardashian met a firefighter named Michael and his wife, Lisa, of Oak Park who lost their house in the Woolsey fire while helping to save other homes. After the couple told their story to DeGeneres, Kardashian presented them with a $100,000 check to help them rebuild their home.

The E! personality explained, "We obviously have all the firefighters that have helped, but to know that you lost your home, Kanye, Yeezy and Adidas wanted to donate to you guys $100,000 so that you guys can begin to pick up the pieces."
