Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Expecting Fourth Child
The baby will be born via surrogate.
Kanye and Kim Kardashian West are expecting their fourth child via surrogate, the reality star confirmed during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
After addressing the baby rumors, Kardashian revealed that she and West were, in fact, expecting a baby boy and already have a due date.
"We do have a due date," she shared, also revealing that the baby will arrive "sometime soon."
Though shocked that she easily revealed the news after staying mum on the speculation, Kardashian said she suspected the news would travel after her family's Christmas Eve party.
"It’s out there! I got drunk at our Christmas Eve party and I told some people. I can’t remember who I told."
The baby will join North, five and a half; Saint, three; and Chicago, who turns one on Jan. 15.
Chicago was also born via surrogate. While the identity of the surrogate was kept a secret, the pregnancy process was regularly documented on Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
A source for the reality show told People that the pregnancy comes as a surprise and that the couple did not seem to be in a rush to expand their family. “They have absolutely talked about trying for another baby with the help of a surrogate, but nothing seems decided for sure,” said the insider.
The couple married in 2014 after the birth of North in June of the previous year. The new baby will be the tenth grandchild in the Kardashian family.
