Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Welcome Fourth Child

The baby boy, born via surrogate, joins kids North, Saint and Chicago West.

The Kardashian-West family just gained a new member. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcomed their fourth child, via surrogate, on Friday. The baby boy, named Psalm West, joins their children North, Saint and Chicago West.

"He's here and he's perfect," Kardashian tweeted. "He’s also Chicago’s twin lol I’m sure he will change a lot but now he looks just like her."

Kardashian confirmed she was expecting the baby boy in January, after revealing the news while drunk at a Christmas Eve party, she told Andy Cohen. In April, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star hosted a CBD-themed baby shower — "because I'm freaking the f— out," she said at the event, which had Chrissy Teigen and hairstylist Jen Atkin in attendance.

News outlets reported that the son was born on Monday, but Kardashian dispelled the rumors on Twitter, saying, "Wait just saw news our baby boy came but that’s not true! It’s Met Monday, I’m in NYC. I would be at the hospital lol."

This is the 10th grandchild of matriarch Kris Jenner; all of the Kardashian-Jenner siblings have children except Kendall Jenner. Kylie Jenner gave birth to daughter Stormi Webster in February 2018, followed by Khloe Kardashian welcoming daughter True Thompson in April 2018.

Kim Kardashian also announced in April that she is studying to become a lawyer. "To me, torts is the most confusing, contracts the most boring, and crim law I can do in my sleep," she told Vogue. During the interview, Kardashian revealed that North was most excited about the fourth baby because "Saint will have someone to play with instead of her." Kardashian added of parenting: "You just have to wing it. My sisters and I are on a group chat, always getting parenting advice."
