Kim Kardashian Poses as Cher on Harper's Bazaar Arabia Cover
New day, new style icon to channel.
Kim Kardashian is on a roll with her September issue magazine covers. First, she appeared on Interview magazine as Jackie Kennedy, which caused quite the controversy online, and now, she's transformed into another style icon — Cher — for the cover of Harper's Bazaar Arabia released today.
The reality star, photographed by Mariano Vivanco, channels the timeless goddess of pop with her extra-long mane, a shimmery dress with a down-to-there neckline and bold eye makeup.
It's no secret that Kardashian is a longtime fan of the Armenian singer. She united with Cher at the Keep the Promise premiere in April and took to Instagram to write, "Cher! Need I say more! My fashion icon and fellow Armenian." For Cher's 71st birthday this year, Kanye West's other half also celebrated the prolific performer with 18 photos on Instagram.
Kardashian reiterates her feelings about the singer in Harper's Bazaar Arabia, saying, "She's always had the sickest style, I’m obsessed with her."
Unlike the reaction to her Kennedy-inspired photo shoot, those on social media seemed a little less outraged about Kardashian's latest style transformation.
