Reality TV star Kim Kardashian is pregnant with her first child, THR has confirmed. Her rapper boyfriend Kanye West made the announcement during a concert in Atlantic City on Sunday evening, saying "Stop the music and make noise for my baby mama."

Kardashian issued a statement on her website on Monday, writing, "It’s true!! Kanye and I are expecting a baby. We feel so blessed and lucky and wish that in addition to both of our families, his mom and my dad could be here to celebrate this special time with us. Looking forward to great new beginnings in 2013 and to starting a family. Happy New Year!!! Xo."

The news first hit the internet several fans tweeted about Kanye's concert announcement, which was then followed by a congratulatory post by Russell Simmons and then an excited pair of tweets from Kim's sister Khloe Kardashian

"KIMYE!!!!!" she tweeted, then added, "Keeping secrets is hard with so many family members! Especially when you are so freaking excited!!!!! LOVE is everything!!!!" Their mother, Kris Jenner, tweeted, "Oh BABY BABY BABY!!"

The pair began dating in April 2012; Kim is still technically married to NBA player Kris Humphries, from whom she split after just 72 days of marriage in 2011. A divorce hearing is scheduled for February 15.

West has appeared on the family's flagship TV show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, including an appearance that aired in August; during that episode, Kim received fertility treatments.
