The stunning location: Nobu Malibu.

The famous guests: Kim and Khloe Kardashian; Kris and Kylie Jenner; top L.A. fashion, beauty and celebrity magazine editors.

The celebratory occasion: A buzzy dinner to introduce the sisters' latest business venture — stylish personalized apps (and websites) that will offer fans an exclusive and well-curated peek into their lives.

The one hitch: All conversations are "off the record."

Not a bad way to spend a Tuesday night, so, of course, we accepted the invitation, but because of the latter disclaimer, we can't relay what we heard or even what we saw (secrets!) during a sneak peek of the content, which is being overseen by newly installed executive editor Jen Garcia. The longtime People staffer joined the sisters in July in a post at Whalerock Industries, the media-tech company that is partnered with the digitally savvy stars on the media hubs.
