ABC's head of current programming Kim Rozenfeld is segueing into a pod deal with ABC Studios, returning to his roots as a producer.

The pact comes on the heels of the executive restructuring at ABC Entertainment Group, in which the current programming operations for ABC and ABC Studios were folded into the network and the studio's comedy and drama departments.

Rozenfeld, who served as senior vp current programming, overseeing both comedy and drama series for the network, will now develop and produce series as a nonwriting producer.

Rozenfeld joined ABC in 2005 as senior vp current drama. Before that, he was vp series development and programming at VH1.

Prior to that, he was an independent producer who developed and produced several series through his Half Full Entertainment banner, including "Two Guys and a Girl" and "American High."

Rozenfeld also served as vp comedy programs for ABC.
