King welcomes fans into 'Living Room'

NEW YORK -- Carole King's 2005 concert at her Southern California home forms the basis of "Welcome to My Living Room," due Oct. 23 on DVD via Rockingale Records. The performance, which was part of King's 2005-6 Living Room tour, boasts such hits as "It's Too Late," "I Feel the Earth Move," "You've Got a Friend" and "Loving You Forever."

During these shows, King and her band would perform an unrehearsed song each night, a process documented on the DVD via a bonus interview. Also spotlighted are tour rehearsals and chats with King about the creation of the intimate tour.

In a first, "Welcome to My Living Room" is packaged with 100% recycled fiber and printed with eco-friendly ink.

King will be back on stage in November for five Japanese shows as part of the 3 Great American Voices tour with Mary J. Blige and Fergie.
