Kingsley, Bachchan share screen in 'Card Game'
EmptyNEW DELHI -- Sir Ben Kingsley will co-star with Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan in Hindi film “Teen Patti” ("Card Game") currently shooting in England and directed by Leena Yadavh.
Bachchan confirmed Kingsley’s involvement on his blog Wednesday stating that the Oscar winning star of “Gandhi” had “graciously considered to play a part in “Teen Patti."
Bachchan added that the two met in Cambridge during the film’s ongoing shoot, where Kingsley came “ready and prepared” with his lines.
In “Teen Patti” Bachchan plays a professor who tutors five of his brightest students in the ways of high-stakes gambling, a plot that reportedly resembles 2008’s Kevin Spacey starrer “21,” based on the true story of the MIT Blackjack Team.
“Teen Patti” is also said to include a cameo appearance by Pierce Brosnan, while unconfirmed reports indicate that Richard Gere may also have a guest role.
